Because all new projects (whether design or coding) are of different scale and scope, it's impossible to predict the exact amount of time one individual piece of work will take to complete. I ensure to inform clients of my progress during a project, and we work together to create realistic deadlines.
For the time being yes. Most of my work is completed from home, and my only current liaisons are with third-party companies such as web hosts and printers. Working as a lone freelancer allows me total freedom to meet the expectations of my clients, without the restraints of forced deadlines and team conflict in design decisions.
Web standards has become the grassroots technical standard that help define the internet, particularly the philosophy of increasing performance and accessibility for the end-user.

I'm currently using Adobe Creative Suite 3 which meets all my design needs. Dreamweaver is used to code and organize, while Fireworks and Photoshop are used to design.
